Describe the space
Share the room type, wall material, vanity dimensions and a straight-on photograph. Mark power points, taps, shelves, doors and lights. Mention whether the property is under construction or already finished.
Define the finished envelope
Give the maximum width and height the mirror can occupy. For organic shapes, mark the widest and tallest points and confirm orientation. Clarify whether dimensions refer to the glass or the complete framed product.
Rank your priorities
List what matters most: facial lighting, ambient glow, a particular silhouette, matching a metal finish, storage or a statement scale. Ranking helps resolve conflicts between appearance, space and budget.
Specify controls and light
State your preferred light colour, whether dimming or multiple settings are important and how you want the mirror switched. Ask the seller to confirm available options for the selected design rather than assuming every feature can be combined.
Approve before production
Review the final written specification, dimensions, orientation, finish, electrical requirements, price, GST, delivery, installation and warranty. For a complex shape, request a proportion drawing or template when available.
