Start dry
Switch the mirror off and remove loose dust with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. Dusting first reduces the chance of dragging grit across the surface.
Use minimal liquid
Apply a small amount of suitable glass cleaner to the cloth, not directly onto the mirror. This gives you control and helps prevent liquid from running into edges, controls or behind the product.
Wipe in overlapping passes, then buff with a second dry microfibre cloth. Follow the product care instructions if they specify a particular cleaner.
Protect edges and finishes
Avoid abrasive pads, blades and harsh chemicals. Take extra care around printed details, frosted areas, frames and touch icons. Clean metal or wooden surrounds according to their specific finish guidance.
Manage bathroom moisture
Run ventilation during and after showers, and wipe persistent droplets from mirror edges or nearby cabinetry. Good airflow supports the entire bathroom, not just the mirror.
Know when to request service
Flickering, unusual heat, loose mounting or unreliable controls should be assessed by a qualified service professional. Do not open the mirror or attempt electrical repairs yourself, as this can create risk and affect warranty coverage.
